Well, our first garden may have been an overall failure, but we did learn a lot, and are ready to start anew with a Southern fall garden! We tilled, raked, furrowed (?) and planted all last Saturday (and by we I mean mostly Lee). Elaina helped with the planting, and was particularly excited about the carrots. She really enjoyed "harvesting" our last garden whenever there was something ripe, and we hope this garden will show her just how much food you can get out of a pile of dirt. Wish us luck!
